Sue Sheldon
CHAIR
Sue joined the Board as Chair on 17 January 2023. Sue is a professional company director. Sue is a former president of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business. Sue has previously held directorships in Chorus Limited, Freightways Limited, Reserve Bank, Contact Energy Limited, Paymark Limited, Meridian Energy Limited, Ngai Tahu Holdings Limited and Christchurch International Airport Limited, and is the former chairman of the National Provident Fund.
Sue has extensive experience as both chair and member of audit and risk committees. For some years Sue has been involved with the governance of Girl Guiding New Zealand, the leadership organisation for girls and young women. -

Quinton Hall
DIRECTOR
Quinton joined the Board on 17 January 2023. He brings significant tourism and commercial experience from 25 years in senior executive roles most recently as Chief Executive of Ngai Tahu Tourism. He is currently principal of the experience design and management consulting company EQMade as well as the Chair of Gymnastics New Zealand. Quinton currently serves as chair of the Nelson Airport Board.

Gerrard Wilson (Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō, Kai Tahu)
DIRECTOR
Gerrard Wilson joined the Board on 17 January 2023 and is a Nelson-based Director. With a corporate career in commercial real estate, Gerrard now holds a number of governance roles alongside independent consulting for a number of clients. He holds a number of trustee and directorships including with Nelson Building Society and the commercial arm of Te Tauihu iwi Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō. Gerrard currently serves as Director on the Port Nelson Board.

Darren Mark
DIRECTOR
Darren is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with Findex in Nelson and Richmond. He is also a Chartered Director and member of The Institute of Directors of New Zealand. He carries out work on a number of Boards locally both in the business and not for profit sectors. He provides strategic, business, risk and governance advice to his clients alongside accounting and taxation. He undertakes business valuation work on an ongoing basis.

Mark Loveard joined IHL in June 2024. Mark previously held senior executive roles in the financial services, telecommunications, hi-tech, electricity, aviation and tertiary education sectors.
